NudeTech™

Modal is a soft fibre made from cellulose sourced from trees. NudeTech™ combines super-fine modal body fabric with seamless garment construction for a smooth, flexible, second-skin feel.

NudeTech™ is designed with minimal seams to reduce visible lines beneath clothing. The smooth, flexible fabric follows the body without adding unnecessary bulk.

The modal body fabric is soft, breathable and designed to reduce irritation from bulky seams. Those with highly reactive skin or known fibre sensitivities should check the full product composition before wear.

Modal is a regenerated cellulose fibre made from beech wood pulp — the wood is broken down and re-spun, producing a filament finer and smoother than standard viscose. The seamless knit matters because side seams are the raised edge you feel through leggings or a fitted dress; removing them removes the line.

Follow the care label on the individual product. In general, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, then air-dry away from direct heat.

Super-fine modal generally feels smoother, lighter and more fluid than conventional cotton, while managing moisture efficiently. NudeTech™ also adds seamless construction, so the difference is felt in both fibre and fit.

A mesh laundry bag is worth using. The knit is very fine, and a bag stops hooks and zips elsewhere in the load catching it.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle, cool — we recommend below 30ºC.

Using soap? Keep it mild. If your pair has a RegSilk™ gusset, enzyme-free matters — RegSilk™ is a regenerated silk protein, and protease in bio detergents breaks protein down. No bleach, no fabric softener. Both will reduce your underwear's ability to manage moisture and your body temperature, and softener leaves a residue that traps the bacteria behind odour rather than removing it.

We recommend air-drying flat in the shade. It's better for your Paire and the planet. No tumble drying please, and this one isn't fussiness: the fine elastic in the waistband and legs starts breaking down above 40ºC, and a domestic dryer runs far hotter than that.

Use a cool iron only, if you iron at all. Seamless underwear has no seams to press, so there's usually nothing to fix.

Give each pair a day off. Elastic recovers with rest, and rotating through several pairs will keep every one of them fitting properly for much longer than wearing the same favourite into the ground.

Store folded and loosely, not crammed into a full drawer — elastic that's held compressed and stretched for months doesn't come back the same way. Keep it somewhere dry, and make sure everything is completely dry before it goes away.
