A reminder built in

BioTracker™ brings a simple reminder into the underwear itself. The tracker changes colour gradually in response to wear and washing, giving you a quiet prompt for when a pair may be ready to replace. It works without an app or battery, sitting there in the background until you choose to check it.

Underwear changes with use, even when it still looks fine. This one shows you where it is in that cycle.

The construction underneath

Beneath BioTracker™ is NudeTech™, Paire's seamless underwear construction. Super-fine modal, a regenerated fibre made from tree pulp, feels exceptionally soft and fine against skin, with breathability and a fluid drape. It is knitted seamlessly so no side seams press into the body. The RegSilk Protein™ Fibre gusset blends modal with mulberry silk for added smoothness where it matters most.

Frequently Asked Questions

BioTracker™ is a colour-changing hygiene tracker built into Paire's seamless underwear. It changes gradually in response to wear and washing, offering a simple visual prompt for when that pair may be ready to replace.
The tracker responds to external stimuli from wear and washing, changing colour gradually over time. It does not measure or detect bacteria, and should be read as a replacement prompt rather than a diagnosis.
Guidance commonly cited is around six months, though wear and care vary from pair to pair. BioTracker™ offers another prompt, with its end point indicating when replacement is recommended.
Sunlight, drying method, hot washes and harsh detergent can all affect the tracker. Direct sun can move the colour faster, while heat and protease enzymes may damage the protein-based components.
No. BioTracker™ works without an app or battery. Check the tracker from time to time and use its gradual colour change as a simple prompt alongside your usual care and replacement habits.
The body uses super-fine modal, a regenerated fibre made from tree pulp, chosen for its exceptionally soft feel, breathability and fluid drape. The RegSilk Protein™ Fibre gusset blends modal with mulberry silk for added smoothness in the panel closest to the body.

Care Instructions

Turn the underwear inside out and place it in a mesh laundry bag before washing. This helps protect the tracker from rubbing against zips, hooks and other hardware in the load.
Wash on a gentle cycle below 30°C. The body is made with super-fine modal, a regenerated fibre made from tree pulp, while the gusset contains mulberry silk. Cooler water and gentle movement are kinder to both.
Use a mild, enzyme-free detergent. Protease enzymes in biological detergents can break down protein, which is present in both the mulberry silk gusset and the tracker. Skip bleach and fabric softener.
Dry flat in the shade and never tumble dry. Direct sunlight can move the tracker's colour faster than wear alone, while high heat is best avoided for both the tracker and the fabric.
Give each pair time to air between wears rather than folding it away damp. Rotating through your drawer also gives the fabric time to dry fully before its next wear.
Store underwear clean and completely dry, in a breathable drawer or container rather than sealed plastic. Keep it away from direct light to help protect both the fabric and the tracker.
Glance at the tracker from time to time. When it reaches its end point, that pair has reached the stage where replacement is recommended. It is a prompt, not a deadline.

Our Materials

Navy[portrait]

Supreme CoolBlend™

Australian Merino wool spun with organic cotton: wool's crimped fibre moves moisture as vapour, cotton adds softness and structure.

Supreme BreezeBlend™

Merino wool paired with eucalyptus-derived TENCEL™ Lyocell, spun in a closed loop that recovers over 99.8% of its solvent.

BioFlex™

Made from 50% recycled corn stalks, our bio-based material uses an innovative process that extracts starch glucose from straw and regenerates it into a nylon fibre.

ReBrew™

Spent coffee grounds are processed into particles carried on recycled polyester filament, then blended with organic cotton to create ReBrew™.
Merlot[portrait]

SilKnit™

Mulberry silk, produced by silkworms fed only mulberry leaves, is knitted with Australian Merino wool to create SilKnit™.

100% Merino

Two grades of Australian Merino: Ultra-Fine at 16.5 microns for next-to-skin tees, Superfine at 18.5 for thermals.

100% Organic Cotton

Organic cotton grown without synthetic pesticides, knitted at 330 to 430 GSM — heavy enough to hold structure through wear.

RegSilk

Silk cocoons regenerated into a protein fibre, spun into the one panel that sits closest to skin: the gusset.

BioTracker™

A hygiene tracker built into the garment, changing colour gradually with wear and washing until a pair is ready to replace.

ReForm™ Merino Fleece

A two-layer construction pairs Merino-blend fleece on the face with 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell against the body.
