Fabric technology is core to how we build comfort at Paire. We engineer and develop our own trademarked material technologies in-house, starting with what a product needs to do, then working backwards through fibre, construction and process to get there.
That work can begin with unexpected inputs, from corn stalks in BioFlex™ to spent coffee grounds carried on recycled polyester in ReBrew™. Some materials require new ways of combining fibres; CoolBlend™ takes twelve additional processes before the yarn is spun. Others rely on regeneration, seamless construction or layering instead of a conventional blend.
The result is not one house fabric or one preferred fibre. It is an evolving body of material technology, developed around the job each product needs to do.
A Paire material can take one to three years to develop. Depending on the project, we work with leading textile specialists and material labs around the world through rounds of design, trial, wear, redesign and repeat. Even after launch, the work continues, with materials reviewed and refined each year as new improvements become possible.
We believe better comfort begins long before a product is finished, in the fibres, processes and decisions underneath.
A fibre is not just an ingredient. Its length, fineness and structure determine how it can be spun, which machinery can handle it, what it can be blended with and how the finished material behaves. Plant and animal fibres follow different rules; silk behaves differently again as a continuous filament. Those limits shape every decision that follows.
We do not treat sustainability as one claim applied across every material. It shows up in specific decisions: TENCEL™ Lyocell recovers more than 99.8% of its solvent in a closed loop, BioFlex™ replaces half its nylon input with corn straw, ReBrew™ puts spent coffee grounds to work on recycled polyester, and our Botanic Collection uses plant-derived dyes. None makes a product impact-free. Each is a more considered choice.
